Salon Owner / Senior Stylist
Salon founder Lisa has an eclectic love for a bygone era. This shows in the salon fit out and also in her hairdressing work; she loves to put hair up for a special occasion or to teach you how to recreate these looks at home. Lisa enjoys transforming your colour and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hair treatments and recommendations.
Lisa's enthusiasm and fun spirit keeps the team inspired to provide an enjoyable experience for all those who visit.
As the Salon Coordinator, Danielle takes bookings, makes coffee, keeps the lolly jar topped up and does most other things in the salon that don’t involve cutting hair. When she’s not at work she's hanging with her dog Poppy and going on hikes.
I am a hairdresser from Japan and have worked over 10 years in fashion-crazy Tokyo. I love working with NZ hair, especially designing hair that looks great and clients can replicate at home, so everyday becomes a good hair day.
Kumiko is back on board full time.
I'm Claire and I recently moved to Wellington from Hamilton. I love hairdressing, my favourite thing to do is vibrant fashion colours, soft ballyage and short edgy cuts. You can be guaranteed a fantastic head massage! Vintage hairstyles are something that I love doing too. I also do makeup and have been the hair and makeup artist on several short film shoots, and I also love shooting editorial work. Currently I am on the GHD style team for New Zealand and I was a New Zealand finalist for industry newcomer of the year 2016.
In my spare time I love cooking, exploring Wellington with my camera and seeing some live music or playing music myself. Basically I get into anything creative!
Lea is wildly passionate about hair and makeup artistry and grew up with a Mum who was at the top of the hairdressing game in the 50’s and 60’s. She has worked on catwalk and editorial, theatre, film work (including The Hobbit), commercials, countless TV series, and beautiful brides. Lea is a perfectionist but loves to laugh and believes you need to seize the day, enjoy and indulge in every moment.
